Gil Noble, Host of Pioneering TV Show Focusing on Black Issues, Dies at 80
My response to those who complained that I didn’t present the other side of the story was that this show was the other side of the story.
I am sad to hear about the passing of Gil Noble. I was a big fan.
His show, Like It Is provided a forum that shined light on news, cultural events and political issues that impacted the black community.
He was also one of the inspirations for an old character I created named Ascot Jones.
